Workshops, discussions on how open strategies can energize learning and research

See the schedule of sessions.

Later this November, Vancouver will be hosting the Open Education Conference. To take advantage of this world-class collection of experts, TRU is bringing a cohort of international visitors to our university for two days of activities and sharing in a fun and informal atmosphere. Our guests will share sessions with some of TRU’s most innovative and open practitioners as they showcase their work.

On our schedule, we have sessions on digital scholarship and research, online identity and ePortfolios, Open Educational Resources (OER) and open textbooks, authentic learning, and hands-on opportunities to try some of the exciting new open educational technology we are launching at TRU. We will conclude with a discussion to outline priorities and strategies to promote openness and innovation at our university.

We hope to have you with us!
